MIDDLE EASTERN MUSIC FESTIVAL: THE MUSIC OF PERSIA
The Middle Eastern Music Festival is a celebrated annual event that brings artists from the Middle East, the Balkans, and the Mediterranean together with students from all over the world to learn and experience the musical traditions of those regions.
Admission: $8 in advance / $12 day of show

WOMEN MUSICIANS NETWORK: 18TH ANNUAL CONCERT
Produced by the WMN Club and directed by Lucy Holstedt and Christiane Karam, this eclectic and exciting mix of musical styles features Berklee women students and their bands from around the world, plus special guests.

QUEEN BOUDICCA: A METAL OPERA
An original dramatic opera composed by Robert E. Schlink, associate professor in Berklee’s Ensemble Department, and his son, Berklee alumnus Robert C. Schlink, and directed by Carol Schlink, Queen Boudicca: A Metal Opera is scored for a large company of singers, a small conventional orchestra, and a heavy metal band.

RHYTHM AND FREQUENCIES: CONTEMPORARY WRITING AND PRODUCTION STUDENT CONCERT
The Contemporary Writing and Production student concert features some of the department’s best students and their dynamic songs and arrangements in an exciting mix of electrifying music.

KALEIDOSCOPE: AN OPEN-GENRE BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Berklee’s Songwriting Department, along with the Record Company and Notable Productions, will host Berklee’s first all-original Battle of the Bands.

ARTURO O’FARRILL AND THE AFRO LATIN JAZZ ORCHESTRA
Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra will explore the common roots of jazz as seen in the early music of New Orleans, Louisiana and Havana, Cuba. Special guest Donald Harrison (alto saxophone) will also perform.
